Taking the Plunge

I’ve finally listed a couple of items on Etsy.com
My “handle” is fullyfleeced.

This is something I’d thought about for a while, and it just took me a bit to pull myself together and get organized enough to make a go of it.

There’s a lot to think about, once you get down to actually making it happen: photos, weights and yardages, descriptions, pricing, shipping policies, etc, etc.

And its harder to take a good picture of yarn than you might think.

So, if it sells, I’ll be starting a sheep fund.
And if it doesn’t, it’s not a tragedy- because I love it, and you can never have too much stash, right?

Right?

Right! But wait, I thought the “fence fund” came first. Whatever. I still have two beautiful fleeces on very friendly hooves here waiting for their forever home…. 🙂

    Hi Michelle-
I’m calling it the “Sheep Fund”, because I hope to use it to help offset general sheep-related expenses. So, fencing and shelter are the biggies- then comes sheep acquisition, hay, minerals, etc etc.
I’m still in negotiations with my blog photographer over whether we can/should use an existing outbuilding as my “sheep house”- if we do that, it might move this whole thing along a little faster.
If you still have Blizz and Bryden next spring,, I might be in a position to adopt them. I do love those colored fleeces, and the friendliness factor counts for a lot with me!
