Drafting: long draw technique
Fiber is drawn back, elongating the rolag as the spin enters the spiraling fibers, trapping lots of air in the core of the yarn. Yarn is evened out while spin continues to enter fibers.
•Drafting: Short forward draw technique. Fibers are drawn forward from the top and are held parallel as twist enters them. Drawing hand then gently smooths twisted fibers as it moves back to repeat the motion
