No Sheep Yet, but

We’ve got chickens!

Baby chickens, anyway:

3 Rhode Island Reds, 1 Buff Orpington, and 1 Gold Sex Link

Here’s the little chickie setup in the shop:

They are definitely more alert and active than when they first got home.
Yesterday they were just “peeping”. Today they are really “cheeping”!

And while they are eating and drinking and cheeping and growing, The Man is working on their permanent accommodations:

When it’s done, it will look pretty much like this-

Neat, eh?

OH! May I borrow “the Man”????

    Please, please, PRETTY PLEASE?

I’ll send him back as soon as he’s finished building coops for me, I promise!

So sorry, but I’ve got more than enough to keep him busy here for the forseeable future! 🙂

They are so cute! And not just Rhode Island Reds…I’ll have to look up the other types to see what they will look like. I saw the coop at the expo and am wishing I had checked it out a little more thoroughly. Way cool!!
